Business + Startup 0

We’ve got a GREAT event lining up on March 27th in NYC  with Foursquare and we’ll be laser-focused on Business Development.    You’ll get to hear from experts including the folks who did the Foursquare/SinglePlatform partnership that helped drive a nice exit, one of the BD leaders at GA, one of the key people driving the latest Twitter/Amex partnership, one of Seth Godin’s BD stars, and a serial VP of BD turned VC.

At First Round Capital we strive to add value to our own community of companies, but also the broader entrepreneurial community at large.   So in that spirit we’re pleased to announce our Business+Startup speaker series – and we’re partnering with Foursquare to host the first one.  There are plenty of events for engineers and designers that focus on things like product development and technology at startups (like our own Design+Startup and Hack+Startup), but there hasn’t been as much attention paid to the business side.  So we’re calling on business development and sales leaders to gather and explore the art of business development at startups.  Attendees will get real-world, tactical, actionable insight from the people who practice it.  We hope you will join us for pizza, beer and a great night of learning and connecting.
