Ninja Tech Travel Tips 3

I travel a fair amount, and here are some products/sites/apps I’ve found to be really useful – and most will work with any smartphone.

Mophie Juicepak – my awesome iPhone 4s has a miserable battery life – this doubles it and protects at the same time.

Zagg Sparq – because you still need more battery, and this will power anything with a USB cord and give multiple charges.

New York Penn Station mobile page showing all Amtrak and NJ Transit trains/tracks/times – it’s the difference between walking with confidence and running like a crazy person.

SeatGuru to pick the right seat on your flight

HotelTonight* – The coolest/easiest/cheapest way to find great hotels on your mobile device TONIGHT in the city you’re in.

Uber* – the coolest/easiest way to get a limo service on your mobile device right now.

FlightCaster - cool app that predicts if your flight will be late or not.

*First Round portfolio companies.

What else do you use and love?

I love TripIt. Just forward your flight/hotel/rental car confirmations and you are set.
